Customer information on the savings allowance
The saver's allowance (Sparerfreibetrag) is 1000 euros per person per year and 2000 euros for joint taxpayers. It includes income from capital assets, i.e. interest and dividends, as well as gains from the sale of capital assets. We require an exemption form so that we can take this into account directly for our customers.
